Opportunity to Qualify for the Dutch Darts Championship
On Wednesday, PDC Tour Card holders will have the opportunity to qualify for the prestigious Dutch Darts Championship through a qualifying tournament. This crucial event will offer ten starting spots for the seventh Euro Tour tournament of the season.
The qualification system has undergone some changes since last year. Instead of the previous 24 starting spots, there will only be 10 available this season. This is due to the fact that the top-16 players in the Pro Tour rankings and the top-16 players in the world rankings are now automatically qualified for the Euro Tours.
“As a result, a total of 32 players have already secured their place in the Dutch Darts Championship, which will take place in Rosmalen from May 24-26.”
Among the already qualified competitors are renowned names such as Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Dave Chisnall, Michael Smith, Gary Anderson, Nathan Aspinall, Peter Wright, and Dimitri van den Bergh. Unfortunately, Luke Humphries and Luke Littler have not registered for the Euro Tour event in the Netherlands.
The qualifying tournament promises an exciting battle as the remaining PDC Tour Card holders vie for the ten coveted starting spots. Fans of the sport can look forward to a thrilling display of skill and determination as the players compete to secure their place in the Dutch Darts Championship.
