The Return of the BetMGM Premier League Darts in 2024
The BetMGM Premier League Darts is back in 2024, featuring an all-star cast of the world’s top players as they compete in a series of one-night events throughout the regular season. The action kicks off on February 1st, with a rematch of the World Championship final between Luke Humphries and Luke Littler.
Former world champions Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith will also go head-to-head on opening night, alongside other darts superstars such as Peter Wright, Rob Cross, Gerwyn Price, and Nathan Aspinall. Each league night will consist of quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final, with the winner of each event pocketing a £10,000 bonus.
Ranking points will be awarded to determine the league table, with the top four players advancing to the Play-Offs at London’s O2 Arena on May 23rd. Reigning champion Michael van Gerwen will be looking to defend his title in the 16-event campaign, which will take the players across the UK and Europe, including stops in Cardiff, Berlin, Glasgow, Newcastle, Exeter, Brighton, Nottingham, Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, Birmingham, Rotterdam, Liverpool, Aberdeen, and Leeds, before the season culminates in Sheffield.
