The Baltic Sea Darts Open Concludes with an Exciting Finale
The Baltic Sea Darts Open wrapped up on Sunday night with an action-packed finale. The PDC has released a video highlighting the key moments from the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final.
In the quarter-finals, reigning world champion Luke Humphries proved to be a formidable opponent for the Dutch, defeating Michael van Gerwen. Humphries then went on to beat Danny Noppert in the semi-finals, setting up an all-English final showdown.
The other semi-final saw Rob Cross narrowly survive a match dart against Ritchie Edhouse in the quarter-finals, before eventually falling 7-4 to Madars Razma. Razma had earlier stunned players like Dave Chisnall, Joe Cullen, and Ryan Searle, but was unable to secure a place in the final.
“The championship match between Humphries and Cross was a high-quality affair, with Humphries throwing an impressive average of 104.38, compared to Cross’s 105.56. Humphries even managed to produce a nine-darter and take a 5-3 lead, but Cross mounted a fabulous comeback to claim the title.”
