Darts Enthusiasts Witness Thrilling Performances as Rob Cross and Ritchie Edhouse Advance to Baltic Sea Darts Open Quarter-finals
In a captivating display of darts prowess, Rob Cross and Ritchie Edhouse have secured their spots in the quarter-finals of the prestigious Baltic Sea Darts Open. The two players will now face each other on Sunday night in a highly anticipated matchup.
Rob Cross Dominates Stephen Bunting
Cross, the former world champion, proved too strong for Stephen Bunting in an exciting encounter. The match was already won in the practice room, as Cross claimed the bull’n and maintained control throughout, not even conceding a break opportunity in his own legs. Utilizing a combination of 13-darters, 14-darters, and a 15-darter, Cross dominated the proceedings, only narrowly missing a match-winning dart in the tenth leg before sealing the victory in the deciding leg.
Ritchie Edhouse Defeats Ricardo Pietreczko
Edhouse, on the other hand, secured his place in the quarter-finals by eliminating Ricardo Pietreczko. This marks the Englishman’s second quarter-final appearance on the Euro Tour in 2024. ‘The Madhouse’ took an early break lead in the third leg, breaking Pietreczko with a stunning 126 finish. Pietreczko managed to force a rebreak in the sixth leg, but Edhouse quickly regained control, closing out the match with a 15-darter and a 13-darter for a final score of 6-3.
“The highly anticipated quarter-final clash between Cross and Edhouse promises to be a thrilling encounter, as these two darts stars battle it out for a spot in the semi-finals.”
