On a thrilling Night 13 of the 2024 Premier League Darts in Liverpool, 17-year-old sensation Luke Littler and seasoned pro Nathan Aspinall have secured their spots in the semifinals.
Littler, the rising young star, put on an impressive display, defeating world number one Gerwyn Price 6-3 in the quarterfinals. Showcasing maturity beyond his years, Littler reeled off four of the last five legs, averaging over 100 and finishing with an impressive 50% checkout rate.
Meanwhile, Aspinall faced a tough challenge in the form of world champion and Premier League leader Luke Humphries. Despite Humphries’ trademark walk-on song, Aspinall broke early and, although Humphries managed to level it at 2-3, Aspinall stepped up a gear to secure a commanding 6-2 victory, further strengthening his playoff hopes.
