Following the earlier advancements of Luke Humphries and Danny Noppert, the tournament has now reached its penultimate stage, with the semifinals and final set to unfold later on Sunday evening.
Tense Matchup Between Cross and Edhouse
In a tightly contested affair, former world champion Rob Cross found himself trailing Ritchie Edhouse 3-5 but showcased his resilience by clawing his way back to level the match at 5-5. Edhouse’s missed matchdart on tops in the tenth leg proved pivotal, as Cross capitalized with a double 4 finish to force a deciding leg. An 18-dart combination sealed the victory for the Englishman.
Razma Dispatches Searle
Elsewhere, Latvia’s Madars Razma, who had previously won all of his matches at the Baltic Sea Darts Open by a 6-5 margin, needed fewer legs to dispatch Ryan Searle. ‘Razmatazz’ emerged victorious with a 6-3 scoreline, becoming the last semifinalist at the Euro Tour event in Kiel.
