He opened his campaign with a commanding 6-2 win over Maik Kuivenhoven, posting an average of 102.59. The Englishman then went on to defeat Stephen Bunting (6-5, 103.21 average) and Ritchie Edhouse (6-5, 97.61 average) before overcoming Madars Razma 7-4 with a 99.00 average.

In the thrilling final, Cross faced off against world champion Luke Humphries, emerging victorious with an impressive average of 105.56. The victory was all the more significant as Cross’ tournament average stood at an exceptional 101.59, while Humphries also maintained a tournament average above 100 at 100.17.
