Darts Trio Advance to Austrian Open Last 32

In an afternoon of thrilling Darts action at the Austrian Darts Open, Dom Taylor, Darius Labanauskas, and Ritchie Edhouse all secured their spots in the last 32 of the tournament on Friday.
Debutant Taylor put on an impressive display, comfortably defeating Austrian qualifier Christian Goedl 6-0 and posting a remarkable average of 100.20. The Englishman’s dominant performance included three 14-darters and a 14-dart leg, setting up a second-round clash with Krzysztof Ratajski.
Edhouse also booked his place in the next round, overcoming Arron Monk in a closely contested 6-4 victory. ‘The Madhouse’ found himself trailing 3-1 early on, but fought back with two 15-darters and a 14-darter to win the next three legs. Although Monk levelled the match at 4-4, Edhouse sealed the win with a 62 finish and a 14-dart leg, earning him a meeting with Dirk van Duijvenbode in the second round on Saturday.
Completing the trio of successful players, Darius Labanauskas defeated his friend Madars Razma 6-1. Despite Razma‘s underwhelming 81 average, Labanauskas also struggled to find his best form, averaging just 86 in Graz. Nevertheless, the Lithuanian will advance to face his next opponent on Saturday.
