Darts: Beau Greaves Wins Her First PDC Women’s Series Title of 2024
On Saturday evening, Beau Greaves claimed her first PDC Women’s Series title of the 2024 season, defeating veteran Lisa Ashton 5-1 in the final at Event Six. The two-time WDF World Champion Greaves, known as “Beau N Arrow,” showcased her dominant form, averaging 87 compared to Ashton’s just under 70.
Greaves’ impressive run to the title saw her overcome Rhian O’Sullivan, Mikuru Suzuki, and Noa-Lynn van Leuven. Van Leuven’s victory in the first event of the weekend has propelled her into second place in the race for the coveted spots at the Grand Slam of Darts and the PDC World Darts Championship, with Fallon Sherrock continuing to lead the way.
“The PDC Women’s Series offers substantial prize money for its participants. If at least 128 players take part, the prize fund starts from the last 64, with £50 for reaching that round. In the event of fewer than 128 players, the prize money distribution begins from the last 32, with £100 awarded at that stage. The final winner receives £2,000, while the runner-up earns £1,000.”
The top-ranked player at the end of the PDC Women’s Series will earn a spot at the Grand Slam of Darts, as well as the PDC World Darts Championship. The second-placed player will also secure a place at Alexandra Palace.
