In a remarkable achievement, Darts player Brody Klinge has earned a spot in the prestigious 2024 Australian Darts Masters through his impressive performance in the DPA ProTour events held on June 15 and 16 at the Commercial Club in Albury. The young talent emerged victorious in one of the three tournaments over the weekend, marking his first-ever DPA ProTour title.
Klinge’s success on the DPA ProTour was bolstered by his second-place finish on the Order of Merit, which paved the way for his qualification to the upcoming Australian Darts Masters. This tournament, set to take place on August 9 and 10 in Wollongong, will feature a diverse lineup of both PDC and Oceanic players, including top names like Simon Whitlock, Haupai Puha, Brenton Lloyd, and Rob Modra.

The DPA ProTour weekend saw several notable performances, with Stuart Coburn claiming the first event title and Brenton Lloyd emerging victorious in the eighth tournament. Klinge’s triumph in the ninth event, where he defeated Torin Helmore, Joe Comito, and former PDC Tour Card holder Gordon Mathers, before winning over Joshua Townsend and Brandon Weening in the final rounds, was a true testament to his growing prowess in the sport.
