Noa-Lynn van Leuven Clinches Second PDC Women’s Series Title of 2024
Noa-Lynn van Leuven has secured her second PDC Women’s Series title of the 2024 season, and her third PDC title overall, following a triumph at Event Five in Wigan. This impressive victory propels her into World Championship contention alongside fellow darts sensation Fallon Sherrock.
In the final, Van Leuven edged out Beau Greaves in a close 5-4 encounter. Greaves is still searching for her first title of the year, as Sherrock and Van Leuven have continued to dominate the women’s circuit. En route to the final, Van Leuven dispatched Rhian O’Sullivan, Leanne Topper, and Natalie Gilbert in the latter rounds.
The PDC Women’s Series
The PDC Women’s Series offers substantial prize money, with the winner of each event receiving £2,000. If at least 128 players participate, the prize fund starts from the last 64, with £50 for reaching that round. With fewer than 128 players, the payouts begin from the last 32, with £100 guaranteed. The overall winner of the series earns a spot in the prestigious Grand Slam of Darts and the PDC World Darts Championship, while the runner-up also secures a place at Alexandra Palace.
With one more tournament left to play on Saturday, Van Leuven has firmly established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the women’s game. Her consistent performances and ability to win under pressure have made her a top contender for the upcoming World Championship.
