Darts Enthusiasts Eagerly Await Semi-Finals Showdown at Players Championship 12

The battle for the latest ProTour title continues as the semi-finalists have been determined at the Players Championship 12 event. Darts fans are in for an exciting matchup as Dimitri van den Bergh faces off against Madars Razma, while Matt Campbell takes on Danny Noppert.

In the quarter-finals, Noppert recorded a 6-4 victory over Keane Barry, with the first three legs going to ‘The Freeze’ courtesy of a 14-darter and two 15-darters. Although Barry fought back to 4-3, Noppert’s second break proved decisive, and he sealed the win with a 13-darter in the tenth leg.

Noppert’s semi-final opponent will be Matt Campbell, who eliminated Richard Veenstra 6-5 in a tight quarter-final encounter.

The other semi-final clash will see Dimitri van den Bergh, known as ‘The Dreammaker’, take on Madars Razma. The Latvian player made an explosive start, opening with a 10-darter to take a 3-0 lead over Michael van Gerwen. Despite van Gerwen narrowing the gap to 4-3, he missed crucial darts in the ninth leg, allowing Razma to clinch the match 6-3 with a 20-darter.
