Darts Fans Gear Up for Exciting Players Championship Tournaments in Milton Keynes
On July 2nd and 3rd, 2024, the Darts world will turn its attention to the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes as the next two Players Championship tournaments of the Pro Tour unfold. Darts enthusiasts can look forward to live streaming coverage of Players Championship 13 and 14, courtesy of the PDC.
Some of the sport’s biggest names, including Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Nathan Aspinall, Michael Smith, Gerwyn Price, and Peter Wright, have all confirmed their participation in the quest for Pro Tour glory. Fans can catch all the action from the four stream boards live on PDCTV, accessible through a monthly (£9.99), annual (£59.99), or two-day (£3.99) subscription.
Additionally, various betting sites will offer live streams of the tournaments, requiring a minimum balance of £5 to access the coverage.
“The 2024 Players Championship circuit comprises 30 tournaments, each featuring a field of 128 players, typically the PDC Tour Card holders.”
If a Tour Card holder is unable to participate, the highest-ranked players on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit will be invited to fill the vacant spots.
The Players Championship tournaments are held throughout the year in Wigan, Leicester, Hildesheim, and Milton Keynes. While Barnsley has been a regular Pro Tour venue, this partnership is set to take a temporary break after 2023. The opening Players Championship events will take place in Wigan on February 12th and 13th, with the final two tournaments scheduled for Leicester on October 30th and 31st.
These floor tournaments provide an opportunity for players to secure qualification for the major televised events, such as the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, and World Darts Championship. Moreover, the Players Championship tournaments are the only way for players to earn a spot in the coveted Players Championship Finals.
With an array of top-tier talent set to battle it out on the oche, Darts enthusiasts can look forward to an electrifying display of skill and excitement at the upcoming Players Championship tournaments in Milton Keynes.
