On Sunday afternoon, the PDC Development Tour 10 saw some exciting matchups as players battled for a chance to advance to the quarterfinals. Danny Jansen, who had earlier won 4-0 against compatriot Marc Vleghert in the last sixteen, is set to face off against Keane Barry. Meanwhile, Gian van Veen has also secured a spot in the quarterfinals after defeating Yorick Hofkens 4-1.
The PDC Development Tour is the youth circuit of the Professional Darts Corporation, catering to players aged 16 to 23. At each tournament, a prize pool of 15,000 pounds is up for grabs, and a ranking system is established to determine the top performers. The top two players in the overall ranking at the end of the season will receive an invitation to the World Darts Championship, as well as a Tour Card for 2025 and 2026. The ranking winner will also earn the opportunity to compete in the prestigious Grand Slam of Darts.
Additionally, Adam Gawlas has also advanced to the quarterfinals, further adding to the excitement of the tournament. The Development Tour continues to be a platform for young talents to showcase their skills and strive for recognition in the world of professional darts.
As the quarterfinals approach, the competition is set to intensify, with players fighting for the chance to secure their place in the subsequent stages of the PDC Development Tour 10.
